Osteopathy
Although we primarily focus on the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles and joints) we also can assess, diagnose and treat some conditions relating to the nerves, blood vessels, lymphatic system, internal organs, and brain and spinal cord. Osteopaths recognised that the body’s tissues and organs are all strongly related to one another. To focus on only one tissue or part of the body may not be the best method for treating someone's health condition.
Osteopaths can send for some imaging referrals and we may consult with the patient’s doctor for further investigation or treatment options such as blood tests and medication.
